Leather footbags are not just net game bags! True, net game kickers use very firm, leather footbags but the net game is NOT all a leather footbag is good for. Leather footbags are durable and the best material a footbag can be made of except for stalling. Leather gets supple with repeated kicking although it is generally a bit hard when you first start kicking it. Within a day or two you may even miss that hardness when you see what great bounce you get with a firm footbag.
We have introduced two very nice, quality, top grain leather footbags: the 6P Leather Sundancer and the 62P Leather Niagara (both are also available in synthetic suede as well: Sundancer, Niagara). These two leather footbags are really great for freestyle and circles. They have bounce and they don't get as dirty as synthetic materials do.
If you just want to stall the footbag (footbag juggling) then you would be better off obtaining a footbag designed especially for that, like the Stalling Star or the deCinco. To stall it a footbag is best when it is rather floppy, soft, and not made of leather.
